Killington’s 200K Shred Day Is a Full-On Winter Party
Killington Resort is throwing a proper celebration on Friday, February 20, 2026, and if you’re anywhere near the mountain, this is one you don’t want to miss. To mark 200,000 followers on Instagram, Killington is hosting 200K Shred Day — a mix of skiing, scavenger hunts, après energy, and free giveaways all day long.
The headline event is a massive all-day scavenger hunt across the resort, with 20 free 1-day lift ticket vouchers hidden around Killington for anyone lucky enough to find them. It’s equal parts shred, explore, and flex-your-local-knowledge.

At 2:20 PM, the party shifts gears with a group lap off Superstar, rolling straight into après at K-1 Lodge. Expect a live DJ, $2.20 Michelob ULTRA drafts, complimentary hot chocolate, non-alcoholic drinks, and plenty of free swag. Classic Killington après — loud, cold, and exactly how winter weekends should end.
Turning a Ski Day Into a Killington Weekend
Events like 200K Shred Day tend to turn a simple ski day into a full Killington weekend getaway. Groups roll in for birthdays, bachelor parties, ski trips, and winter reunions — and the fun doesn’t stop when the lifts close.
That’s where we come in.
At VIP Entertainment Inc., we’ve been booking Killington bachelor parties and private events since the early 1990s. Whether you’re celebrating after après, hosting a private rental party, or keeping the night going back at your lodge, we handle professional, discreet entertainment with experienced performers who know the Vermont ski scene.
Planning Something Bigger Than Après?
If you’re coming up for 200K Shred Day with a group, it’s smart to plan ahead. February weekends in Killington book fast — especially when there’s a resort-wide event on the calendar.
